Many have burnt a flame for the short-lived no wave genius of LOD, but now you can finally hear the record the way it was originally intended! You see, independent music is sort of about trying to reinvent the wheel. When you don't have people doing stuff for you, you gotta figure it all out for yourself. Well, back in the day, we greenhorns didn't really know what "mastering" was or why it was needed. As a result, many of those early releases really weren't mastered at all - they were just transferred from whatever weird-ass final mixes we had straight to the finished product. I'm glad to say, things have progressed and now we gladly present the Lake Of Dracula album in its ultimate state, MASTERED and kicking mega-butt. As a bonus, this new version contains the "Live at Fireside Bowl" bootleg for your perusal.
Marvel at the wiry, angular guitar; the frenzied, cryptic vocalisms; the solidly propulsive anti-rock drumming. This was the sound of Lake Of Dracula - never to be repeated.
